Engr. Dr. Ogungbenro, Oluwaseyi Akinyele is a Director of Research and Development and is currently the Overseeing Officer for the Electronics Development Institute, ELDI, Awka He was born in August 5, 1972 in Ile-Ife, the current Osun State. He is from Oluponna, Ayedire Local Government Area of Osun State and he is married with Children. He obtained Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Electronics Engineering, Federal University of Technology, (FUTO) Owerri in November 2017. Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) Electronics and Computer Engineering, Federal University of Technology, (FUTO) Owerri in December 2010 and Bachelors of Science Degree (B.Sc.) Applied Physics Electronics, University of Lagos (UNILAG), 1995.

He is highly proficient in Embedded Systems Development, Hardware Design and Development, Power Electronic System Development, System Automation, Internet of Things, General Computer Hardware Maintenance and Good knowledge of Troubleshooting and General Repair. He is a member of many professional bodies and has many international and local academic research publications and Patents to his credit.
